Huawei announces Android based Smakit S7

Huawei will soon release five different Android based devices, one of them is the Smakit S7. This device has an 7″ wide touchscreen with the resolution 800×480. The Smakit S7 comes with a customised Android interface and allows users to very easily access local information, social networks and applications stores. Spotify – Now also for Symbian

Some time ago Spotify released an application that enables listening to your favorite music in your mobile phone. In the first release you had to have either an iPhone or a mobile phones based running on Android. Yesterday Spotify finally released a verion that runs on Symbian based phones as well. This opens up the world of Spotify for owners of many different models from Nokia, SonyEricsson and Samsung.

Google finally announces the turn-by-turn Maps Navigation, at no cost! The new navigation software includes features like 3D views, turn-by-turn voice guidance and automatic rerouting. The sad part is that  it initially only will be released for Android 2.0 phones. In step two it will be supported by iPhones and hopefully in the third step it will support other phones as well. Anyhow, I think that this might be the start for the totally free navigation era where the traditional navigation companies have a really tough day.

Another Pico Projector enters the market – AU Mobile´s iida Pico Projector

This tiny Pico Projector comes from AU Mobile. There is not that much of information yet about the new projector but it can run for 2 hours and 10 minutes on a charge and displays screens between 6″ to 63″. It also includes a mono speaker.

AU Mobile has announced that the iida pico projector is specifically designed to work with the Sony Ericson G9 phone. If your not a owner to one, the projector also supports AU S001, VA001, H001, W63CA, W63H, W62CA and W62H series phones.
